About the Event
Generative AI models are trained on vast amounts of data drawn from publicly available, licensed and contested sources. This has placed renewed pressure on copyright law and raised difficult questions about consent, ownership and fairness.
This VSCL signature dinner will host a structured debate between speakers arguing for and against the use of large-scale data by AI companies for model training.
The evening will conclude with audience questions and informal discussion over a nice dinner.
Event details, including topic, speakers, date and time, are indicative only and subject to change. Tickets will only be made available for sale once details are finalised and confirmed.
