About the Event

Mark Gibson is a Principal Lawyer at the office of the eSafety Commissioner, Australia’s online safety regulator. Mark will be providing an overview of the general remit of the Commissioner such as the content removal schemes and the systemic powers including industry codes and standards, the basic online safety expectations and the social media minimum age. He will also be providing an update on significant milestones including an overview of the Commissioner’s first completed civil penalty proceedings and the registration of the age-restricted material industry codes.


Access to the venue:

  • Prior to 5:45pm access through Collins Street entrance to 838 Collins Street, Docklands and proceed to the rear of the ground floor lobby to the "Charlie Bit Me" cafe for pre-talk refreshments. 

  • After 5:45pm access via rear of  838 Collins Street, Docklands into Charlie Bit Me cafe directly.
