Synopsis

The seminar will provide a high level overview of the types of exposures for companies and individual’s in this area. It will then focus in greater detail on the key risks being, Fraud/Terrorism, Social Media/Publishing, Electronic data, Technology Services and the impact of Cyber acts. We will also examine legislative changes and the implications of the New Privacy legislation as it affects insurance coverage. Finally we will look at options for Insurance risk transfer and the deficiencies in cover with traditional insurance policies/programs.

Chris Ward is a Client Manager in the Melbourne Financial Services Group Team at Aon. Chris has 18 years’ experience in the Insurance industry gained in Australia, New Zealand and the UK. The last 12 years have been spent specialising in Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers Liability and Cyber Insurance products.
