Forensic Investigation Training Session

In this scenario-based training session, Mr Gino Bello of McGrathNicol Forensic and their Investigations team will investigate a case using traditional and non-traditional forensic techniques, with a particular focus on digital and 'alternative' evidence.

About the speaker:

Gino Bello, McGrathNicol Forensic

Gino is a senior member of the McGrathNicol Forensic Technology team, being the national leader of its eDiscovery service offering and the leader of its computer forensics team in Melbourne.

Gino has completed post and undergraduate studies in the systems security and computer science, specialising in digital forensics. He is a member of the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners and a Certified Computer Examiner. Gino has also guest-lectured at Melbourne University.

Gino has led a broad range of matters, including being involved in some of Australia’s largest disputes, investigations and expert reporting into the theft of IP, the leakage of confidential information to the media, employee-related misconduct, and other computer-related fraud.

More recently, Gino has focussed on bribery and corruption projects, including some juicy, high-profile matters that have been in the media.
